Cuba Gooding plays a role of a solider (Carl Brashear)who is black the solider went thru a lot to just became a Navy Diver since the other Navy Diver’s were extremely racist they didn’t believe that he was good enough to join. When Carl finally gets the spot he does everything he is told and much more. Later on, in the movie Carl is the best Navy Diver that is on the team everyone excepts him at the end.

  6. WHY DID I CHOOSE THE MOVIE • I choose this movie because I watched it a couple times and I liked it plus it gives good examples about the Navy. It has a good perspective about how a military member tries his best with everything that is given to him.
