SSPA CFD Web based ticket system The goal of this implementation is to market CFD computations for SME’swhichdo not contemplateinvesting in licence and trainngusing SHIPFLOW The system is intended for non-expert users, with limitedpossibility to control all parameters used in the solver. It is alsofullyautomated (no interaction from SSPA necessary) and no installation is necessary. The aboverequirementsallows for veryinexpensive CFD, still with a market potential for the developer.

Preparation The process to go through for a new user is outlinedbelow Register on the webpage for the system Aquire tickets from SSPA and receive FTP site information Login to portal Choose process Upload geometri (igs or stl) Input paramters and additional information to webbased system Createrequest Wait a little Downloadresults Only item 2 requires involvment from SSPA

Conclusion A webbased CFD evaluationtoolhavebeendevelopedallowing for non expert and relativelycheapuse of CFD The system can be used for revenue generation, butequallyimportant is to use for demonstration (i.e. free tickets) for customers that are not convinced of the value of using this system, or who have not decided to invest in license. The downside of the system is that only a limitednumber of features will be used. All CFD related parameters could be included, butwould no longer be a system for non-experts.
