  2. Fixed Income Pool • Fixed Income Pool is comprised of endowment funds totaling approximately $74 million. Donor restrictions limit investment to fixed income only. • The Pool has been managed internally by staff in the Office of the Treasurer. • Outsourcing of investment management to an external firm will allow for broader diversification of the portfolio and increased returns over time.

  3. Fixed Income Pool • CRR amendment will allow for external management of the Fixed Income Pool. • Investment objectives are preservation of capital while maximizing returns. • A customized “Core Plus” mandate within the broader U.S. fixed income market has been recommended, subject to credit risk guidelines consistent with the investment objectives.
