Challenge 2: Logistics Pt. 2 Skills needed to complete this challenge are as follows: Davie County Robotics Skills Challenge Series • Skills from Challenge 1 • Find a Line – light sensor • Follow a Line – light sensor • Touch – touch sensor • NDMS: PES, MES, and SGES • SDMS: CES, WRD, and CZES • WEMS: WEMS, SDMS, and NDMS • Teams may design their ownrobot chassis. The following two challenges from November 4th need to be pre-programmed prior to February 3rd. • CRUISE THE STRIP: Cruise the strip in Mocksville. Staring at BASE, travel up Main Street and turn left on Gaither Street, then left again on Salisbury Street, around Horn’s and return to BASE without hitting any obstacles. • DELIVERY: Drive from BASE to Southern States and pick up dog food and deliver to Mocksville Police Station and return to BASE without hitting any obstacles. • Students must successfully complete these two challenges prior to receiving 8 ALL NEW challenges which will need to be programmed on the spot. • Contact the Curriculum Department at 751-5921 with any questions.
