  • Provides Sensory Stimulation: Visual- high contrast colors, Touch-cotton, velour, rubbery raised dots, tuft of hair, velcro, crinkle material, Audio- crinkle material, vibration of tail, squeak in paw, gentle rattle.

  • Develops motor skills, memory and recall, hand/eye coordination, social engagement, and cognitive development.


Adaptive equipment

It encourages sharing, social engagement, and peer cooperation thus providing the student with the opportunity to work with others and make and keep friends.

Product would be kept on a counter or shelf when time to be put up and will be brought down during free play and passed around so all students have to chance to experience it.

Seats would be kept in reading pit or in learning zone so students can rock and keep moving while focusing on the teacher and class.

  • I believe that a typical classroom could, realistically, be able to afford and provide many of these products for all students and have them last a long time.

  • All products can be loved and fun for all students and are also great for students with autism which helps for all students to feel included.
