  3. Location • In the village Štěpkov, district Třebíč, Vysočina Region, the Czech Republic. • In a fenced area of the former cemetery in the village. Štěpkov

  4. History • built at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries in Romanesque style. • used for religious purposes but also as a fortified refuge. • It is a cultural monument.

  5. Description • A rare building structure built of quarried stone, additionally equipped with an arched brick Baroque dome. • One of the oldest stone monuments of religious architecture in the country.

  6. Description • A circular shape with a semicircular apse. • Smoothfacade. • A circular arched stone portaliswalled on thesouthside. Above itthereisa cartouche with thecoat of arms and emblems of St. Wenceslas. • The area around the rotunda is enclosed by a low stone wall.
