General Demographics • Student population = 1481 • Break down of race, free and reduced, gender, mobility (38% AA, 60 % W; 51% F/R meals; 54% boys, 46 % girls; 12% mobility) • % population in special education = 20% • ISAT • # of staff in MS, breakdown by race, gender (certified 89 wf, 24 wm, 11 bf, 4 bm; non certified 19 wf, 2 wm, 23 bf, 7 bm) • # of social workers, security staff, title staff • Richness of special education continuum

Expanding Opportunities • Self assessment for social justice cohort groups 1 through 8 to be completed in Spring • SEL survey for staff-compared last years baseline data to this years to see change in perception or practice • Significant difference in staff perception • Honors program: more inclusive type of environment for children of color (student moved from Gifted to Alternative program) • Talent Search program: for under privileged youth, for black youth
