  4. COURSE ASSESSMENT • Midterm Exam 30% • Presentation 20% • Final Exam 50% • Performance: • Students can choose any literary work and provide relevant info about the author, briefly explain the work(setting, characterization, style etc.) and present it in front of the class.

  5. COURSE ATTENDANCE • Course Duration 14 Weeks/42 Hours • Permitted Absence 30%

  6. IMPORTANT DATES • Mid-term exams 12-18 November 2012 • Final exams 03-11 January 2013 • Make up exams 04-09 February 2013
