  2. Smolensk zoo In 2001 an eco-biological center for children called "Smolensk Zoo" appeared in the city of Smolensk. The Center's mission is to show the younger generation rare animals, their habits and how they live.

  3. Smolensk zoo • Today Smolensk zoo has the territory of 225,8 sq meters, where 403 animals from just every continent live.

  4. Smolensk zoo A visit to the Zoo will bring you and your children the joy of communicating with animals. The Zoo tells the visitors lots of secrets of its inhabitants, from those familiar since childhood to the most rare and exotic ones. Each aviary, terrarium and aquarium has a detailed annotation which clearly states the specific name of the animal, habitat, its distinctive features, lifestyle, environment and food preferences.
