Entry Level Positions Application Development Analyst • Conducts detailed analyses of specifications, requirements, and equipment configurations for CNA systems • Develops and prepares computer applications (codes new or existing applications and/or integrates purchased solutions) • Prepares program test data, tests debugs programs • Supports operations area technical staff in implementation of application into production. Acts as liaison between clients and application areas

Entry Level Positions Quality Assurance Analyst • Assists in preparing and conducting quality assurance testing of software and systems utilizing problem-solving assistance tools • Provides help desk support to client and IT technical staff in resolving basic QA process or procedure questions • Recommends process improvements and assists project managers in implementation of basic process improvement strategies • May assist in the development of QA metrics for assessing application software or systems

Entry Level Positions IT Summer Internship Program • Designed to give students real-world work experience within several areas of IT: Infrastructure, Network Ops, QA, Security, and Systems Development • Professional and Personal Development activities such as public speaking and Lunch & Learns with senior management • Hands-on projects with assigned mentors • Full-time work schedule • Internship will last 8-12 weeks (start dates will vary)

Requirements Application Development Analyst • Bachelors’ Degree in CIS / Computer Science or other related discipline • Related Internship or IT Experience (for Full-Time candidates) • Minimum 3.0 GPA • Technical knowledge varies upon department location Quality Assurance Analyst • All of the above, as well as: • Overall understanding of the project management life cycle and prior use of project management tools • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners

  12. Training Programs IT Specific • No formalized training program. We have mentors assigned to new hires once they have started, and there is project level training provided as needed. • CNA encourages employees to stay abreast of new technology within the company by sending them to internal training sessions. Ongoing Education • CNA offers tuition re-imbursement for classes you take related to your role or business • CNA will pay for certifications which are applicable to your role (MCSE, PMI, etc.)

  13. Performance Reviews Expectation and Measure Setting • Manager and Employee define what performance objectives and competencies are expected for the performance period. Measures are created to determine success. Development Planning • Manager and Employee determine the development plan based on the employee’s performance expectations Performance Evaluation • Manager and Employee evaluate the employee’s actual performance as compared to the measures set forth in the definition period.
