  1. Here is all the information that is needed to run a manual backup. You need to use the /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup script for running a backup in WHM through the command line. For running a backup manually, you are required to log in to the command line through SSH. This log in needs to be done as a root user. Next you need to run the command that is being mentioned below. /usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup Options The above-mentioned script (/usr/local/cpanel/bin/backup) accepts certain options that are mentioned below. -- force An additional backup is carried out by it, even when the system has backup files that are up-to-date. -- debug It enables the backup to run in the foreground.
