They are used to fix the timber into the soil. They are mainly used to support light structures like docks, moorings, sheds, retaining walls, pergola and windmills with the soil. Post spike is made of metal bracket which is generally galvanized to keep away corrosion. One of the ends holds the wooden post where as the other end has a sharp metal that penetrates the ground. The brackets that hold the metal are of different shapes according to their usage. To protect these spikes from corrosion, decay and rusting, hot dip galvanization is done on the surface of the metal spike. Post spike does not require any digging or grouting. H type post support holds the post between two steel columns at one end and another end is held firmly in the ground. It is made of galvanized steel. The size and shape is customized as per the requirement of the clients. These are used to support fences, pergolas, balconies and arbors. Adjustable post support is used to adjust the connecting parts as it is designed to adjust such parts by width and height. Apart from galvanization, yellow zinc plating and powder coating is also done on the metal frame to protect it from all the corrosive agents. They are used in fencing, roofing, home construction, etc. Bolt down post base is manufactured from powder coated galvanized mild steel. It holds the timber fence post above the ground and protects the base from damage. The timber post is held solidly with the help of nails and screws. If the post gets damaged, it can be removed quite easily. The arrangement consists of a post shoe and post base. It is used in fencing, traffic signage, flag pole, etc. Post supports or stirrup post anchors are used to protect the wooden post from decay. A fixing plate can be of different shape and the holes on the plate are used to hold the post anchor firmly on the flooring. The plate or the support may vary in design and can also be designed as per requirements.
