  3. weather Finnish weather is very cold and snowy in Winter, but I was in Finland in Autumn, so I didn’t see the snow. I think that Finnish people are very crazy when we wore scarves, caps and gloves they wore only (and not always) caps. In Italy the weather is very different, so I was cold but they weren’t! They also swim in the lake during Autumn, it’s crazy, I know, but for Finnish people Autumn is like our Spring.

  4. LANDSCASPE Here we can see the «Finnish paradise» Last day, me and my host family visited this amazing place. It was very exciting To see it!! One of the most beauful things in Finland is the landscape.

  5. FOOD The first dinner in Finlandwasn’tverygoodbecause I HATE Finnish food! Weatetheirtraditionalricecalled «porridge», but I didn’t likeit. Their food is a lotdifferentfromours. Every day theyeatfish and drink milk for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a break. I love milkbutthatwasn’tverygood. But I likedtheirsoup (thatisfantastic!!) however I thinkour food is the best in the world!

  6. HABITS When I arrived in myhostfamily’s house the guys put theirshoes in a big shoe rack. In factthey don’t useshoesin the house, office or school. Theyalso use to have in each house a sauna, itisamazing! I’vedoneit with myhost family and otherRomanianchildren. Laterweswam in the Finnishlake…brrrrrr Thereis a trampoline in each house and oftentheyhave big houseswith a big garden likeourhost house. Last butnotleast, they go to school with byciclebecausetherearen’t a lot of cars, theyalso use an helmet on the bike. But the bycicleshave a strange way of curbing.

  7. Hobbies Children in Finlandhave a lot of hobbies maybebecause the schoolrarelygiveshomework. The children from myhost family for example do gymnastic, play the piano and the saxophone, or sing, etc…. In their free time theymeetalwaystheir friends and theywatchfilmstogether. They LOVE horror filmsso when I wasthereeverybodysaw a film calledAnnabelle (myItalianfriend Gaetano too)and I insteadreadmyfantastic book!

  8. LANGUAGE It can be strange but in every zone there is a different first language. In fact Finnish people talk 3 languages: Finnish(of course), Suami and English. In our host city, for example, talks: 1 SUAMI/ SWEDISH 2 FINNISH 3 ENGLISH In fact their first language is Swedish!

  9. HOSTFAMILY And this is my host family! Finnish families are very numerous! In mine there were 5 kids: Vieno, Lucas, Oscar, Edvin and Vincent. I slept with Vieno, she is a good friend and we sometimes chat by whatsapp. I felt very good in this family and everybody were adorable! I hope, one day, I can see them again because they are fantastic!
