Regional and Environmental Surveys Department Thetask: • initiate, programme and prepare methodology and to conduct regional surveys on a countrywide scale; • to prepare regional aggregated studies and analyses; • to coordinate work of the units of official statistics services in the field of regional surveys; • to initiate research work and to programme and conduct methodological work, • to coordinate surveys, • to prepare and publish statistical survey and analysis results concerning the condition, risk and protection of the environment and water management, environment quality, and the economic aspects of the environmental protection, including environmental accounts.
