Fellowship recognition (1) The PGCHE and the Associate Fellowship Scheme are recognised by the Higher Education Academy as conferring eligibility for HEA Fellowship/Associate Fellowship, based on 4 criteria: • Institutional commitment to embedding UKPSF to promote professional development of all staff who teach and support learning • Our provision is fully aligned with the UKPSF • Participants fully engage with UKPSF and can evidence this • HEA Fellowship recognition decisions made, based on that evidence, are robust
Important: this means you! To pass the AFS or PGCHE, all participants need to submit • Coursework which reaches the required standard and • evidence that they have been observed twice: once by their School mentor and once by a tutor from the Academic Practice Team We would appreciate it if you could use this Observation form which has been mapped to the UKPSF, as it helps us form a judgement about a claim for Associate Fellowship/Fellowship.
