  4. Where were we two years ago? • As of April 30, 2008 • 10,272 books • 433 issues of 22 magazines • Seven more magazines by June • 69,453 downloads since October 1 • Almost a quarter of those just in April! • 2,266 user accounts, 55 libraries • April busiest month yet for requests

  5. BARD Statistics (May 17, 2010) • 18,776 books • 1,643 issues of 45 magazines • Just foreign language left to add • 1.35 million downloads • …and counting, and accelerating! • 0.55 million (40%) in 2010 • 20,042 patron accounts • 2500 account requests in March • (<1000 in October)

  6. BARD Stats (continued) • Average day: Just over 4,000 downloads • Equates to a download every 21 seconds • Average business day: About 100 new account applications • Typical week: 215 items received @ NLSDownload
