Criteria for ACMA Awards Old Criteria Turnover of applicant plant was considered to decide if the applicant falls under SME Category or Non SME Category.  New Criteria The turnover of registered ACMA member company, including turnover of all its registered plants, will be considered for deciding if the applicant plant falls under Small Company or Large Company Category. Company need to decide to apply for a particular plant in any Award category subject to fulfilling company turnover criteria.   The details of the revised criteria are summarised in the table below: e.g.: As per new criteria applicable from Feb, 2013 : If company ABC Limited has turnover of Rs. 250 Cr for year 2012-13 and it has 3 plants with turnover of Rs. 30 Cr, Rs. 80 Cr and Rs. 140 Cr. If the plant, with turnover of Rs. 30 Cr, is applying for present year’s awards , then it would fall under Large company category as overall company turnover is > Rs. 50 Cr.

Guidelines for filling the application ( Please read the guidelines carefully before filling the application) Please confirm your category as per criteria given Please do not change the content and sequence of the questions as per the template provided. (Graphs provided in the template are editable, double click on the graph to add your data). Total 10 hard copies (color) and one CD containing soft copy (ppt file and not pdf file) have to be submitted in original with proper book binding (Not spiral binding). Photocopier copies will not be accepted. Application print quality : Cover (4 Pages): Use power point template provided as per each category. (Paper Size: A4, Thickness: 300 gsm Gloss) Inside all pages : Use power point template provided as per each category.. (Paper Size: A4, Thickness: 100 gsm Gloss) , Style : Portrait for Cover and Inside No. of pages as per category: Excellence in Exports : 54 + 4 (Cover Pages) Excellence in Technology : 60 + 4 (Cover Pages) Excellence in Quality and Productivity : 60 + 4 (Cover Pages) Excellence in Manufacturing : 66 + 4 (Cover Pages) Number of pages are fixed as above. Kindly do not add / delete any pages. You can share more data during site assessment. (Site assessment is performed only for those companies which are shortlisted by the Jury).

  4. Guidelines for filling the application ( Please read the guidelines carefully before filling the application) 5. Each graphical slide has been filled with dummy data and has got a provision to edit with the actual data of each company. Applicants are advised to fill the correct data in the same Unit Of Measurement (UOM) mentioned in the graph. 6. Applications received with incorrect or incomplete data are liable to get rejected. 7.Please do not paste pictures as against the graphs or data. 8.Applications submitted should be neat, readable and in presentable form to Jury. 9.Preferable Font size for word writings is 12, wherever necessary colored slides should be used to differentiate between various parameters/ data. 10. All copies of Applications must be duly signed by the CEO of the plant. 11. Cover Page design includes – Front Page: only replace the text for company name and location. Delete the category of Award which is not applicable. (For Excellence in Manufacturing, no need to change anything on the front page.) 12. Index page is for official use, do not add any data on this page. Summary of Achievements page is to be filled by the applicant company. 13. Back page – To be used by the company to paste shining / excellent photographs of your plant.
