I believe that having an open line of communication with the school community is a trait all leaders should possess. Being a leader to me means setting the example of being loyal to the students and the school community, as well as, not being afraid of change and eagerly taking on challenges. Another personal trait that I believe makes me a quality instructional leader is constantly learning new techniques and strategies to provide a well-rounded education for my students.

  8. Vision Statement An effective instructional leader of a school community takes full responsibility in meeting the needs of all students. This includes the education, organization, safety and management of every aspect of the school that impacts the students. A leader is someone who is the role model of not only the students but the faculty as well both professionally and personally. It is also the responsibility of a leader to incorporate a school vision/culture that reflects the values of society surrounding the school. As a leader, I believe that keeping the best interests of the students at the forefront of every decision will result in positive achievements of both the school and the school community.
