SOS Parking Signs for Survivors MWR Brand Central Download Link -- http://www.mwrbrandcentral.com/HOMEPAGE/printmedia.html • Objective • The intent is to honor and recognize the sacrifice of Family members who have lost a loved one in military service by providing designated parking for Families of the Fallen. The approved parking sign will serve as a method to promote awareness and educate the military community on Families of the Fallen. • ** Reference OPORD 13-098: Designated Parking for Families of the Fallen Parking sign design • Place one Survivor parking sign @ these locations: • Casualty Assistance Centers, Army Community Service (ACS) facilities, SOS offices, Commissaries, Post Exchanges and Medical Treatment Facilities. Additional facilities at Garrison Commander’s discretion. • Advertising of Survivor Parking Signs • Maximize publicity of the new SOS parking signs for Families of the Fallen by using article(s) in post newspaper, community calendar, installation/garrison websites, social media, print and email newsletters, e-mail blasts, Commander’s channels, etc. Include thumbnail of parking sign design when possible to increase awareness of the signs. • Garrison SOS staff should maximize their efforts to inform all Families of the Fallen in their AOR on the implementation and locations of designated parking for Families of the Fallen. • POC INFORMATION: • Mr. Frank Toeran, HQ, IMCOM G9, SOS (Europe and Pacific Region Specialist) • comm: 210-466-1171; DSN: 450-1171; email: frank.l.toeran1.civ@mail.mil. • Ms. Rhonda Ballard, HQ, IMCOM G9, SOS (Central Region Specialist) • comm: 210-466-1187; DSN: 450-1187; email: rhonda.a.ballard.civ@mail.mil. • Ms. Kelly Willett, HQ, IMCOM G9, SOS (Atlantic Region Specialist) • comm: 210-466-1185; DSN: 450-1185; email: kelly.t.willett.civ@mail.mil.
