  2. -The purpose of Cadet Leadership Camp is to build Cadets confidence, discipline, teamwork, motivation, and leadership skills. -CLC is only offered to Cadets who have portrayed themselves as potential future leaders in the MCJROTC Program. -Camp goes from 9 June to 13 June at the Cost of $75 per Cadet. This covers transportation, food and lodging. The only other additional cost for the Cadet is the meal going and returning, and any entertainment for the Cadet. Cadet leadership camp

  4. Cadets will participate in the following training while at Parris Island: • Obstacle Course • Confidence Course • Repelling Tower • Physical Training (running and exercise) • Marksmanship Simulation • Close Order Drill • LRC Leadership Reaction Course (Crucible) Cadet leadership camp

  5. - Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated • Parents will have to provide transportation home. (behavior or injury) • Medication – please provide any and all prescription medications for cadets. Please let us know if your Cadet is allergic to anything. CADET LEADERSHIP CAMP

  6. The grooming are the same as they are in the USMC and MCJROTC. • All Cadets must follow all grooming standards while at the CLC. • All standards must be maintain to participate in the camp. Grooming standards

  7. All Cadets will be provided with the additional items for the camp: • Uniform (1) • Socks (4) • T-Shirts (4) • Seabag (1) Uniform and Seabag is returned upon Completion of camp. Cadet leadership camp

  8. LSHS MCJROTC will be conducting a 2nd CLC in Pensacola, FL from 15 June to 20 June. A small number of Cadets (5) have been selected to participate in this camp. The camp is being hosted by the National Flight Academy. It’s a STEM Program. It was not cost to the Cadets attending. Hope to have more billets next school year. 2nd cadet leadership camP

  9. CADET LEADERSHIP CAMP 3-7 JUNE 2013 PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. PRE-DEPLOYMENT BY THE 14TH OF MAY– ADDITIONAL UNIFORM ITEMS ISSUED TO CADETS (I.E. SEABAGS, UNIFORMS, SOCKS, T-SHIRTS) BETWEEN THE 20th and 24th – ALL GEAR IN SEABAG AND AT THE SCHOOL FOR INVENTORY ITENIARY MONDAY, JUNE 9th 08:00 AM – SHOW TIME FOR ALL CADETS IN UNIFORM 08:30 AM – LOAD BUS AND DEPART SCHOOL 12:15 PM – STOP FOR LUNCH MEAL 3:00 PM – ARRIVE AT PARRIS ISLAND , S.C. FRIDAY, JUNE 13TH 6:00 AM – EVERYONE AWAKE/BREAKFAST 6:45 AM – DRESS/PACK 8:15 AM – ATTEND MORNING COLORS 11:15AM- DEPART PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. 2:00PM - STOP FOR LUNCH MEAL 6:00 PM – ARRIVE AT LSHS (APPROX.)

  11. I will be conducting a white water rafting trip to the Ocoee River in Tennessee on the 14th of June. The trip is offered to Cadets attending the CLC, Seniors, and some deserving Cadets. The cost is $25 per cadet. Parents are welcome to attend. After today, seats are on a first come basis. There is 45 seats on the bus, I would like to fill them all. WHITE WATER RAFTING

  12. All personnel arrive at 0700 at LSHS. Will depart at 0730. Arrive at camp at 0930. On the water at 1100. Back at camp at 1300. Lunch Return to LSHS at approx. 1700 ITinERARY
