PROGRAM IMPROVEMENTS

  • Workbook I – Documented Quality Systems Plan Evaluation Guideline Revision 5, August 2008

    • Food Defense requirement removed from the Quality System Plan

    • Integrated Pest Management – Submission of plan not necessary, if facility under Higher-Level Contract Quality requirements (QSP). Only information cited in Section IX (Regulatory Controls) needs to be addressed. On-site evaluation of IPM same as for HACCP Plan.

  • DSCP Food Defense Checklist, June 2007 – Food Defense Plan, a stand- alone document for evaluations and compliance ratings to better secure and protect sensitive information contained in FDPs.
