  1. AlamoChapter S a n A n t o n i o, T X 7 June Guest Speaker John Thomas INCOSE President Elect We are honored to have John Thomas speak to our chapter and would like to see a good turn out for this very special event. John will give his perspective on where he sees Systems Engineering (SE) heading as a discipline over the next 10 years, how he sees professional organizations like INCOSE leading in that, coupled with some practical advice on how local INCOSE chapters (and similar organizations) can leverage or raise the profile in their local engineering communities to help facilitate that "10 Year Vision.“ John is a Senior Vice President and Lead Systems Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH). His current focus is supporting complex systems development activities for the U.S. federal government. With John’s SE & Integration (SE&I) stewardship, BAH has invested in its systems engineers and methodologies for the purpose of enhancing the SE profession and its practitioners.   John’s leadership assignments span program and engineering management, strategic planning, stakeholder communications, conflict management, business process analysis, activity-based costing, solutions concept development, systems synthesis, systems integration, and systems verification/validation testing and operational test and evaluation.   John also is a business coach/mentor to a number of BAH senior technical and management professionals. He is a spokesperson for BAH, speaking to groups and media to help raise the relevance and importance of BAHs systems engineers and SE&I services.
