Skills for the Future • 19 Union led redundancy / at risk projects from 2003 – 2009 - Learning Works for All • 6 projects currently, most covering multiple workplaces • Unions work with employer where possible • Partnership with learning providers, Job Centre Plus, Next Step, Area Action Forces and others is vital

  3. Skills for the Future Case studies: • Britannia Staff Union, Tower Wharf, Bristol [Finance sector] • Appledore Learning Centre, North Devon [Marine sector]- redundancy to learning in partnership, GMB • Equity and BECTU, skills for performers and greening South West theatres
