Guidelines • Assignment •  As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, You are required to carry out Manpower Planning for the Paramount National sales team based on the requirement as mentioned above following the process of Talent Acquisition • Learning Outcomes: • The Assignment aims to achieve the following outcomes: • a. Methodology to prepare Manpower Plan based on the Gap Analysis • b. Preparation of Job description and Job specification • c. Preparation of Manpower (HR) Budget • Presentation of Assignment •  You will write a report which will include the following: • Job Analysis to include Job description & Job specification • Manpower Planner & Manpower (HR) Budget • Talent Acquisition Plan with Timelines • Employee Referral Template • Assessment Criteria • The Assessment of the Assignment will be based on the Quality of Job Analysis, Manpower Planner, Manpower (HR) Budget, Talent Acquisition Plan with Timelines and Accuracy of Employee Referral Template

  5. Step – 2 Prepare Job Analysis which includes Job Description and Job Specification for the Positions of Sales Manager & Sales Executives. The job description and job specification must be specific to electronics industry JOB SUMMARY: As the Sales Manager, he will have to report senior sales manager and be responsible for generating leads, developing new business and closing new accounts in a wide variety of industries. Job Description – Sales Manager • DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of electronic durable goods • Determine price schedules and discount rates. • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping, and in receiving and shipping operations. • QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor in Electronics • Post Graduate in Management from a reputed institute • Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience in related fields. • Advanced level MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. • Excellent negotiating, Written & Oral Communication Skill, & Managing Sales Team • MEMBERSHIP: Member if Sales Committee. • CAREER GROWTH: From Sales Manager to Senior Sales Manager. Step -6 Prepare the Talent Acquisition Plan along with Detailed Timelines for sourcing Qualified Candidates for the role of Sales Manager – 5 No(s) & Sales Executives – 90 No(s) as per the Manpower Planner prepared in Step 3. Note: As per the Paramount HR Policy, 30% of all Vacancies to be closed through Employee Referrals.

Step -7 Create an Employee Referral Template for Paramount Corporation EMPLOYEE REFERRAL TEMPLATE Objective: The objective of this policy is to create awareness and to promote the ‘Employee Referral Programme’ – ‘My Buddy’ to our existing employees. Scope: The scope of this policy will cover referral hiring for Level 1- 2. A referee can be any employee other than Head of Department and HR. Policy: The policy states that all existing employees of Paramount Corporation Ltd will be eligible to nominate their friends and relatives for the ‘Employee Referral Programme’. An incentive is paid to the employees who have referred a prospective employee. This incentive payment is subject to the prospective employee joining the organization.

  18. Step -7 Create an Employee Referral Template for Paramount Corporation EMPLOYEE REFERRAL TEMPLATE (Contd.) Incentive payout: First Installment payable to the referee when the referred employee has joined the organization post their training period and have reported to their respective HOD for placement. The second installment is payable to the referee when the referred employee has completed six months of employment. The incentive will be paid along with the monthly salary. Incentives are subject to tax deduction at source.

Step -7 Create an Employee Referral Template for Paramount Corporation EMPLOYEE REFERRAL TEMPLATE (Contd.) • Procedure: • HR will advertise the position on the Paramount Corporation Referral portal or by email to the New Delhi office. • Managers inform team members during daily team briefing. • Employees who wish to refer a candidate should email a copy of the candidate’s resume at (mybuddy@Paramount Corporation.com) • On receiving the nomination the HR team will screen the resume for job fitment, if found suitable HR will proceed with the selection process. HR will inform the referee or their respective manager of the incentive amount when the nominee joins their respective department/section. • If the referee’s nomination is found unsuitable, HR will revert to the referee with a copy to their respective manager stating reason for rejection. In case the employee is not accessible the reporting manager will communicate the result to the referee. • HR will send a note to the payroll department by the 20th of the month for processing the payout with the salary. • In case of multiple referrals for the same position, preference will be given to the employee who has submitted their nomination at the earliest. This will be validated by the candidate selected for the position.
