  • Peacocks are NOT all called peacocks.

  • They are actually called peafowl.

  • Females are called peahens.

  • Males are called peacocks.

  • Babies are called peachicks.

  • All together their called peafowl.

  • A group of peahens are called a harem.

  • The weight of a male peacock is up to 8 to 10 pounds.

  • The male peacock has a length of 6-8 feet long.
