USER TESTING NOTES 1 • Clumsy gramatic constructions • Wrongly used expressions • “Sreen readers” for the deaf-mute instead for the blind • Check-speller instead of spell-checker • Incompatibility of some parts of the lessons • Lots of acronyms used – translating repetition, sometimes acronyms are inconsistent • Unorganised listings of figures (each lesson page starts with Figure 1, most of figures are number 1)

USER TESTING NOTES 2 • Some links don’t work • Sometimes the question at the end of the page has no answer in the actual page - it can be found in pages that follow • Some of the videoclips need additional installation programmes (Apple Quicktime) • Text and picture don’t match • 3. Lesson in Cooperation with Europeana – the old text and the new picture (there is no icon for the type of a document)

TRANSLATIONS • Digital repositories for small memory institutions – End of the 5th lesson translated • Collaboration with Europeana – Overview translated – Technical aspects not yet • IT terminology issues (English terms common to IT people and Croatian versions yet to be aproved and accepted) • With or without the additional documents translation?! • Selecting and adding local examples • GKR team and core people – making a list of local examples and deciding which local examples to include

LAUNCH CONFERENCE • AKM seminar – 28th – 30th November 2012, Poreč • Adam Dudczak and ASŠ workshop in a session regarding Europeana • + local community on a County level gathering at our Library?! • Certification – a requirement given to a Programme Commitee of CSSU at NSK – waiting for a reply • Training courses as soon as possible because of the early launch conference • Support – GKR and core people trained in Veria

DISSEMINATION • Conference presentations • Informative day on Programme Culture 2007 – 2013 organised by the Cultural Contact Point – Ministry of Culture at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Rijeka • Second Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects, Zagreb • International conference on State information and public documents, Pula • Radio interview – Croatian Radio 1 - Educational programme - (26. 4. 2012.) • Article in a professional newsletter • http://www.hkdrustvo.hr/hkdnovosti/clanak/530

  9. PILOT DL • Draft plan followed + • DL powerd by OMEKA • Metadata shema – Dublin Core • maping to ESE: dcmes-xml, omeka-xml • Set up a server and a DL+ • Customized user interface and traslated to Croatian

  10. OPEN ISSUES • Kultura.hr as Croatian agregator – new portal not seen yet and documents not ingested into Europeana – work in progress • Croatian language not yet in Europeana • NSK – Croatian library agregator – technical conditions established • OMEKA mapping to explore
