  2. MADE BY-ABDUL RAHIM

  3. BELIEF IS A PHSYCOLOGICAL STATE IN WHICH AN INDIVIDUAL HOLDS A PREMISE TO BE TRUE All about belief

  4. case study • Khalil is a 15 year old boy. He goes to an internationalschool and believes it to be best in the world • He wears Nike and Reebok and believe them to be best brands. He hears QuariBasit and believes him to be best

  5. We see that beliefs are specific to him and others may differ from it. For them an international school might not be the best school or Adidas might be a brand they like

  6. I believe case studv 2 Abraham is a friend of khalil. They go to the same school and same class . Abraham has got into a bad habit of smoking He also meets a girl whom he says is just a friend

  7. We know from research that smoking is harmful, we know ABRAHAMS belief is not true and will only cause him harm in here and the hereafter

  8. Case study 3 • Both Abraham and Khalil go to a Masjid to offer Salah and learn the Quran. They both believe the Quran to be a book of guidance

  9. From the above 3 cases we learn • An individual can have a belief according to his taste • an individual may have a belief he think right but there is something seriously wrong with it

  10. Belief True Belief False Belief • Just an information • Nadal plays tennis • Snow is white • No Knowledge • Earth is flat • God is love • Knowledge • There is one GOD • Quran is GODS word

  11. The world is full of beliefs which maybe true or false. the 2 types of true belief are : 1. That which is knowledge and brings reward 2.That is information and a person will not lose anything if he knows

  12. People have all sorts of Beliefs such as believing your favourite brand or fruit Until you start imposing it on others

  13. Some beliefs such as Believing others have died for all your sins will only prompt you to do more sins and there will be no Guilt attached to crime

  14. Symbols of belief

  15. People proudly display their symbol of belief and are emotionally attached to it Institutions have their own unique Identity in the form of a symbol Can you think any of the followingsymbol For your institution ? Of course, Not its against the law

  16. The big question? • What do you think is the symbol of islam? you must be thinking of these as the symbol of islam What is the basis of more than a billion of worlds population? None of these is the symbol of islam. Then what is the basis of ISLAM.

  17. Decision making We as individuals should be very careful about our decisions. Our decisions should be according to HAQQ. Our own logic and thinking is not superior than the truth. Our actions should be guided by truth not by desires. Man is self centered whereas Allah is JUST.

  18. Man is self centered

  19. A case studytrain track and children A group of children were playing near two railway tracks . One in use the other Disused . Only One boy was playing in the disused track

  20. The train came and you were just behind the The track interchange . It was impossible for the train to stop. But you could change its course. What would you do?? you

  21. The prophets dua • O Allah give strength to Islam especially through Umar bin al Khattab OR Amar bin hashim

  22. The incident of kaaba One day UMAR bin al-Khattab Set out from his house to kaaba where he heard The prophet reciting SURAH AL-HAQQAH (CHAPTER 69 ) THE WORDS OF ALLAH APPEALED to him and touched the innermost cell of his heart.

  23. He thought he was a poet. As soon as this thought came to his mind the prophet went on to recite this is

  24. verily the word of a messenger. It is not the word of an poet , little is that you believe He knows what I am thinking he must be a soothsyer

  25. As soon as this thought came to his mind the prophet went on to recite – nor is this the word of a soothsayer,

  26. little is that you remember. This is the revelation sent down buy the lord of the Alamin

  27. At that time Islam permeated his heart. However the dark layer of pre - Islamic tendencies the deep seated bigotry as well as the blind pride in the forefathers overshadowed the essence of the great truth. He therefore persisted in his atrocities against Islam and its adherents . Until sallallahu alihi wasallams dua was accepted which led to his conversionby saying kalma

  28. Tree of faith No matter how handsome we are from outside it is the Faith we conceal in our heart It is belief in our haeart that matters

  29. Belief in the unseen • Emaan is the belief in the unseen. The six pillars of Islam: • Iman in Allah • Imaan in his angels • Imaan in his prophets • imaan in his • Imaan in the last day

  30. Why do we need to know about the creator ? • Allah says in the Quran in surahadhdhariyaat “ I have only created all jinn and men so that they may serve me” No one but Allah is our creator. How can we worship our creator without knowing him.

  31. Definition of godsurah IKHLAS

  32. Al-Baqara 255 Allah! There is no diety except He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

  33. How can anyone carve what he has never seen?

  34. How many gods ?? • The idea of many gods is popular among polytheists they think each one to be responsible for apart of mans existence e.g. a sun-god, a rain god. This indicates that god is incompetent of certain acts. If there were More than one god it would lead to chaos confusion and pain Can a bus have two drivers?

  35. Can a human become god? • A human can never be god. He is made by god. He has his weaknesses and shortcomings. They are born the they sleep they forget they fall sick and are afflicted by diseases • A weak god cannot be god • A dependent god cannot be a god • A lazy god cannot be a god • A negligent god cannot be god

  36. Faith gives you courage • Umarradiallhuanhu was a great companion of the prophet and was one rightly guided Khalipah. • During his reign the dominion s of Islam spread from madinah to the whole and more than two thirds of the eastern roman empire.
