  1. Welcome to Exploring Technology in a Primary Classroom

  2. Why should we have technology? As the world of education changes, it is our job as teachers to stay current on researched based strategies that will benefit our students. This included technology. The future of education is moving to a full technology style of teaching. If our students are not familiar with current technology, they will struggle through their school years.   3. The iPad Uses Limitations Students today tend to know more about the iPad than we do at times. “Parent control” should be used to limit access to certain apps and internet. The iPad can be like TV to a student. Time spent on the iPad should be age appropriate. • Extension of lessons learned in whole group and small group • Builds confidence
