  3. History of transplant sugery • The first successful corneal transplant was done by Eduard Zirmin 1906. It is unknown where the surgery was preformed. It was done because the patient’s corneal was white. This surgery was preformed to save the lives of people that had a bad organ.

Effect on the society • The effect on the society is that they can use this surgery if they have a organ that is not fully working and live from not having a bad organ. • The negative effect on society is not all of them are successful. • People can have a surgery on almost anything like hair, liver, heart, etc.

  6. Impact on society Transplant surgery has a impact on society that is people that have a bad heart, liver, kidney, etc. Can have a surgery to replace that organ.
