  2. REMS Grant 2009 East Baton Rouge Parish School System is proud to have utilized the Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) grant to help make our schools even safer. The REMS grant provided EBRPSS $456,733 to improve the emergency preparedness of our district. To accomplish this goal, EBRPSS selected SafePlans as a vendor to assist in implementing REMS grant objectives.

  3. SafePlans ERIP is a secure, web-based system that improves preparedness and mitigates emergencies through integrated planning, training and access to tactical response information. Components: Emergency Plans Tactical Site Mapping Security Assessments Online Training Courses Resources Secure Database Solution

ERIP is a server-based application that enables school and district emergency planners to develop emergency plans.  ERIP’s intuitive planning process creates plans that meet a desired format across a large range of users. SafePlans developed a new emergency plan template that is NIMS compliant and follows the structure of the State Emergency Operations Plan. Plans include: School Plan Setup Quick Reference Guide Setup District Plan School Plans Quick Reference Guide ERIP Planning – Emergency Plans

  5. Site Mapping Providing first responders access to tactical response information, such as floor plans and digital imagery, can help to lives. ERIP’s Critical Information Portal provides the most detailed site mapping data for all EBR sites.

  6. Site assessments are the tested and proven method for evaluating security and emergency readiness. The ERIP security and vulnerability assessment tool provides fully customizable assessments that are easy to implement and efficient to maintain. SafePlans conducted assessments on all EBRPSS sites and provided a summary report to serve as a road map for safety & security related improvements. Site Assessments

  7. Training All core EBR stakeholders received Incident Command System (ICS) training. The online ERIP Learning Management System continues to provide access to training on demand.
