  33. General Admission Criteria • 1. The ideal candidate is one who has a: • a) Recognized bachelors degree; • b) Has a minimum 2.75 CGPA; • c) Scored a minimum of 450 in the GMAT; • d) And has two years work experience; OR • 2. Candidates with no work experience must fulfill: • a) A minimum CGPA of 2.75; • b) A minimum score of 450 on the GMAT and the same English proficiency as listed above; OR • 3. Those with related work experience may be allowed • a more lenient GMAT score; OR

  34. General Admission Criteria 4. Mature students with a diploma and at least 10 years work experience and are 35 years or older may be exempted a GMAT score but would otherwise be required to show English language proficiency similar to what has been listed above. In addition, the Senate of UUM may use its discretion to accept any equivalent qualification and credential; OR 5. Any other equivalent qualification and credentials recognized by the University Senate; OR

  35. General Admission Criteria • Those with a bachelors degree from an ASCSB accreditation university with a CGPA of 3.75 or above may be exempted from the GMAT requirement. However a minimum of two years of work experience is required; OR 7. Must have English language proficiency through: a) Achieving MUET Band 4; b) A minimum B+ grade in English courses during the undergraduate period; OR

  36. General Admission Criteria 8. International candidates (with a work permit) qualify for a part time student pass, provided they have: a) Scored a minimum of 500 in TOEFL [or not less than 5.5. in IELTS]; OR b) Have earned a degree from an English speaking country.

  37. GMAT Exemptions According to UUM rules, you are only exempted if you : 1. Are mature students with a diploma and have at least 10 years work experience or are 35 years older; or 2. You have a bachelors degree from an ASCSB accreditation university with a CGPA of 3.75 or above; or 3. You are judged to be "candidates of high calibre/previous experience" by the College. 4. UUM has decided to suspend this requirement on application but require 1st and 2nd semester students to sit for the GMAT.
