  2. Fire Exits • Room has 2 main doors • Exit room and turn left to the parking lot • Meet outside toward the end of parking lot by the Fort • Lt Col Carello has the list of members • Lt Col Samuels and C/Lt Col Hyatt will be in charge of the cadets

  3. Afternoon Sessions • Main rooms are on the bottom floor • Door leads to the ramp • If on 2nd level, follow the instructions for this morning

  4. Mishap • Cadet Fest • Report to Lt Col Samuels or C/Lt Col Hyatt • Senior Sessions • Report to the NYW Staff officer in charge of session

  5. General Items • Watch for traffic in parking lot • Watch for slippery spots on walk ways, dips in the parking lot • Pay attention to other members of CAP • Look to prevent a mishap

  6. Review of mishaps in NYW 2011 • Bodily Injury • 10 involving cadets • 1 involving a senior • Aircraft Issues • Maintenance issues: 2 • Maintenance plus other impacts: 2 • Vehicles • Windshield: 1 • Damaged: 2 • Off road

  7. How are we doing in 2012? • Cadet Bodily Injury: 3

  8. NHQ has Emphasis on reducing Bodily Injuries • How can we do that? • Proper supervision • Ensure hydration • ORM • Think about weather and other factors • Members health
