  2. Roads • Public meeting on roads (March 2012). • Enbridge completed cast iron removal this summer. • Environmental assessment contract has been awarded – work should take 12-18 months.  • Road re-construction not likely before 2016.

  3. Mildenhall Safety • City painted white line on Mildenhall to aid pedestrian safety. • Meeting with the city (September 2012) • City will be maintaining where possible the asphalt beside the line • City is looking at a possible stop sign at Bayview Wood. • City is also looking at sight line obstructions on several roads in the area. 

  4. Air Traffic Noise • Meeting at John Carmichael’s office, Leaside residents, Pearson Airport, NAV CAN & Kathleen Wynne (October 2012). • NAV CAN has moved flight 1.8km south. • The noise abatements stay the same. • No changes below 3000 ft., altitudes the same or higher. • Traffic volume essentially the same. • Situation not likely to change before next review in four years if at all.
