  1. Where in the World? Which country is the best place to put a car manufacturing plant, from the choices; Germany, Egypt, and Haiti. Rachel Lemire

  3. Germany Wins! Germany is an excellent place to start/ build an auto plant. The main reason is that Germany is already an industrialized nation, compared to Egypt and Haiti and the rest of the world. It has competitive business taxes, plus an educated work force. Finally, Germany is a secure nation, that is mostly free from crime and terrorism.

  4. Germany is a part of the EU and has a representative democracy, where the people have a say in who rules over them. Currently, Germany has a very stable government. • In Egypt, the people there hate the government and the system, the police are corrupt, beating humble people is a routine to them.Egypt’s political powers are all very week and not popular. • For Haiti, they are a some-what stable government with a lot of poverty. Haiti is republic with an elected government. Germany’s economy and government is the best out of the three, Again, it is obvious that Germany is the better choice to place a car manufacturing plant. Why Germany is my choice for a car manufacturing plant. Out of the choices of Germany, Egypt, and Haiti, Germany is the obvious choice. Germany is the fourth largest economy in the world, while Egypt is the 42nd Largest economy, and Haiti is the 141st economy. Germany’s industry is among the worlds largest and most technologically advanced producers of iron, steel, coal, cement, chemicals, machinery, vehicles, machine tools, electronics, ship building, textiles, etc. Germany has everything it needs to build amazing and efficient vehicles that sells internationally. Germany is already worldly famous for their outstanding automobile performances, including; Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen, Opel. Germany is the world’s leading exporter of machinery, vehicles, and chemicals. Germany benefits from a highly skilled work force. Germany’s trade is #1 global goods exporter and in 2010, Germany produces more than 5.5 million automobiles. The average auto worker in Germany makes $67.14 an hour in salary in benefits. "Deutschland ist der beste Ort füreineAutomobilfabrik." –Zitiert Rachel.

  5. LocationIncluding Shipping availability. Germany is a country with a very large population which is located in the continent/region of Europe. Countries near Germany include Luxembourg, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Belgium. Germany is surrounded by the North Sea and the Baltic Sea by it’s two coastlines. Both seas are connected to the North Atlantic Sea. Germany Egypt is a country with a large population which is located in the continent/region of Africa. Countries near Egypt include Israel, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon. The seas that surround Egypt are the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. The Mediterranean Sea connects to the North Atlantic Ocean, and the Red seas connects to the Indian Ocean. Egypt Haiti is located in the Caribbean. It is between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Sea. Haiti All three countries are connected to the Atlantic Sea, and have available shipping opportunities.

  6. Jobs In Germany, their unemployment rate is 5.4% of their labour force which is lower than Egypt 12.2% and Haiti 40.6% More unemployed workers means more people wanting a job, in this case it’s automobile making with an incredible salary of $67.14. (no knowledge of the minimum wages for each country could be found.)

  7. Economics Germany’s economy is a strong free market economy based on supply and demand. Germany is the world’s largest exporter, exporting more than $1.33 trillion dollars. Germany builds twice as many cars as the United States, while paying it’s workers twice as much. Germany is also the largest economy in the European Union, additionally, Germany also has the largest population in the European Union. The talented group of strong determined workers has allowed Germany to dominate in the fields of vehicles, machinery, and chemicals. Egypt’s economy is based on capitalism. Politically, Egypt was a country that was ruled under one person. Recent events may be changing Egypt into a more democratic country with increased capitalism but that remains to be seen. Haiti’s economy is low income, and peasant based. Haiti and Egypt is no match for Germany and no place to put a car manufacturing plant in.

  8. Haiti To place a car manufacturing plant in Haiti would not be such a good idea. Haiti is known for many natural disasters such as hurricanes, storms, earthquakes, floods, and droughts. Haiti also has low labour costs, and little education. Haiti has way more disadvantages than advantages. Haiti’s life expectancy is only up to age 65 years because of all of Haiti’s diseases (i.e. AIDS) Haiti’s only industries include; textiles, sugar refining, flour milling, and cement. Not at all needed for a car plant. Haiti’s natural gas imports equal zero, same with their exports, consumptions, oil production, oil exports, and oil production. Sorry Haiti.

  9. Egypt Egypt is definitely not the best place to plant a car manufacturing factory, since Egypt is currently politically unstable. As a result, an automobile plant may be a very difficult thing to do. Egypt’s natural resources are petroleum, natural gas, iron ore, phosphates, manganese, limestone, gypsum, talc, asbestos, lead, rare earth metals, and zinc. Egypt is in process of becoming a major exporter of natural gas. Still though, investing in a car plant is most likely a bad idea for the time being while Egypt works through it’s domestic problems .

  10. Closing Ultimately, it is apparent that Germany beats both Egypt and Haiti, the most developed country over takes the less developed countries. Germany’s educated work force andpower helps Germany achieve to be the best choice for a car manufacturing plant. Germany has all the resources and is already one of the most famous exporter of efficient and valuable automobiles. Haiti is much to poor, and Egypt is just not stable enough to have a car factory in their country. I am very certain Germany is the best choice for a car factory out of the choices Haiti, and Egypt. Germany is certainly the best out of the three. By Rachel Lemire
