  2. Chapter History • Founded: Spring 2008 • Sponsored by the Zeta Chapter • Pending Chapter Advisor: Kenneth Stewart, DO • Current Membership • Class of 2009: 15 • Class of 2010: 12 • Class of 2011: 17 • Class of 2012: 18 Total : 62 Members

  3. Requirements for Membership • A minimum GPA of 87% with strong record of community involvement/ extracurricular activities and a completed application for admission – OR – a minimum GPA of 90% with a history of community service/ extracurricular activities • To maintain membership: • GPA above 85% • Participate in a minimum of 6 hours of community service per term

  8. Future plans • Spring Philantropy Event: • Walk A Mile in Her Shoes • Raise awareness against women suffering from domestic violence

  9. Goals for 2009-2010 • Organize, organize, organize • Establish guidelines that will allow a smooth transition between executive boards.

  10. Future Goals • Establish a Nation wide SSP philanthropy event • Raising money for a desired charity.
