• How the Children Will Learn
• As the torque arm gets longer, the acceleration lessens, but the distance traveled lengthens
• As the torque arm gets shorter, the acceleration increases, but the distance traveled shortens

• The force from the mousetrap torque depends inversely on the length of the arm
• The acceleration depends directly on this force
• Therefore, the acceleration is inversely proportional to the length of the torque arm
