  1. S4/5 ART & DESIGN STUDIES - ART STUDIES • The following critical (a) questions are worth 10 marks each. You have approximately 10 minutes  to answer the question withreference to expressive elements such as composition, form, style, symbolism, colour, tone, lighting, brushwork, mood and atmosphere etc.... • try them out and time yourself - then hand in to your teacher for assessment.

  2. Still life (a)  Discuss the composition of the painting. Comment on the artist's use of colour and handling of the various textures in the still life group. What is your opinion of the still life? Justify your answers. Daisies, Anne Redpath.  1950.
