  3. Signing In • Local Instance – CS2 Database • https://icicle.as.ksu.edu:7042 • User ID: (your eID) • Password: (eID password) • If your eID and Password do not work, ask instructor for a substitute login.

  6. Granting Permission

  7. Granting Permission • Permission = act of granting Permission for a student to enroll in a class • Permission overrides: • Consent • Requisites • Class Capacity • (Waitlist)

  8. Granting Permission • Records and Enrollment -> Term Processing -> Class Permissions -> Class Permission Numbers • Permissions are granted on a student-by-student basis • Permissions can be set to expire

  11. Adding Dept to Instructor • Handled in Instructor/Advisor Table • By default, instructors will be assigned to their HR assignments • Additional departments may be added manually • Be sure to add the Academic Department, not the Academic College level

  13. Student Advisor table • Student may have more than one advisor • Graduate School is using “Advisors” in iSIS to identify committees for students • Must assign: • Role • Career • Program • Advisor • (Plan is optional)

  17. Viewing a DARS Report • DARS Reports will be available via Degree Progress (DARS) links in iSIS • Degree Progress links available in Faculty Center – Advisement tab • Click the “Submit Report” button to process the DARS report • Reports appear in the “Results” tab.

  19. Class Rosters • Searchable via Course/Class information, not by instructor • To find a specific Class Section by instructor: • View the instructor’s schedule to find the Class • Search for the roster by Class information
