  6. Accessing e-resources • Direct access from University network • For remote access use your SSO login

  7. Creating search alerts • Register on the database • Conduct a search • Save your final search strategy • Create an alert • Updates will be e-mailed

RSS feeds Really Simple Syndication-RSS feeds can keep you up date with your favourite website, blogs, news events, journal issue releases etc. and can be used as an alternative to email for database alerts. For more information- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rss RSS feeds can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader", or "aggregator“ such as Google Reader, Bloglines, MyYahoo, Newsgator, etc.
