  2. Safety Regulations For all Licences Let’s start with the first slides

  3. 1 Learn all about the transmission system a vehicle so you understand how to use it to its best advantage. This includes things like power, engine consumption, gearbox, torque and revolution counter.

  4. 2 How to correctly operate the safety controls of a vehicle, how to minimise the wear and tear and how to prevent any functional problems.

  5. 3 All about brakes and retarder, how best to use the speed and gear ratio, as well as how to handle hills when it comes to potential brake failures and regular brake use.

  6. 4 How to optimise the vehicle’s fuel consumption.

  7. 5 Knowing the regulations around driver working hours, how to apply the regulations and what happens if you don’t, knowing the duties of drivers and the social environment around professional driving, drivers’ rights and what training is needed for which qualifications.

  8. 6 Identifying the risks of the road, preventing accidents, what sort of accidents can occur, what the consequences are for people, vehicles, material and companies.
