  2. RITS Capabilities • RITS provides the capability to track inventory, issue inventory pick lists and provides visibility at Project, State, and Federal levels • Allows the Project areas to manage local inventory as well as SNS Inventory

RITS Background • SNS commitment to all 62 Project areas to provide a system to track SNS inventory from the Project Area receiving warehouses to Points of Dispensing • Vendor evaluation and review • Vendor demonstration and Pilot with project areas • “GO” decision to move forward with solution

RITS Deployment • SNS Hosted solution with High availability • Available via any Internet connection • Redundancy for Project Area Internet needs • Use of the system by Project Areas is not required, optional at this time • Future identification of Project Area interest and roll-out scheduling for your locale

RITS Project approach • Phased approach – Project Area Deployment identification (QTR 3, CY05) • Software modifications for roll-out • Marketing – Conferences, web casts, Extranet, Listserv • Production Implementation • Training • Train the Trainer • CD ROM materials • Web enabled • On-site • Target Go-Live 30 Sept 05
