PacBell In operation since 1994 55 customers / 70 ports 13 distributed Cisco BPX ATM switches Collocated in distributed C.O.s: (11) in LATA 1 & (2) in LATA 5 DS-3, OC-3c, OC-12c Busy Hour throughput = 2.5Gbps Bundled port and transport PVCs added upon individual requests SBC NAP Attributes Ameritech • In operation since 1994 • 130 customers / 160 ports • 5 centralized Lucent GX 550/500 ATM switches • Centralized in data subsidiary switch site in downtown Chicago. • DS-3, OC-3c, OC-12c • Busy Hour throughput = 6.5Gbps • Bundled port & transport • Full meshed PVCs for peering established upon port installation Two outages in 7 years/ 2001 MTBF= 100%
