London is one of the world's most important business, financial and cultural centres and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts contributes to its status as a major global city. It is the biggest city in Europe. It is also an old city, with a long and interesing history.

  4. Buckingham Palace Located in the City of Westminster, the palace is a setting for state occasions, royal entertaining and it is also a major tourist attraction. Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch.
