  5. Popularity of Sites

  6. Classroom Applications A social bookmarking site provides a way for students or teachers to save all of their links in one place on the Internet. Links are saved with tags for easy search of sites in the future. A teacher found a site with information about a book taught in the classroom, they might tag the link with “Romeo and Juliet” and “Shakespeare” and “lesson plans.” All Web sites that are tagged this way would then be easily found. A person can save these bookmarks in his or her own collection and share them with the community.
