  • Coordination – collaboration and coordination among stakeholder institutions to supply/use transportation resources effectively and efficiently
  • Mobility management – services and activities to help individuals to find and use available travel options to get where they need to go

  • High desert – basin & range topography
  • Sparse, dispersed population (2.3 persons/sq. mi.)
  • Remote – extensive travel distances
  • Few health care facilities
  • No passenger carrier services
  • 20% elderly population and g-r-o-w-i-n-g
