  20. Significant Safety Achievements- 9/13 • The “Office Electrical Safety” Self-Assessment project was completed. A final report has been submitted to OCA. • Progress continues in disposal of numerous old chemicals and samples in labs 62-102, 62-316, 70-163, and 70-249. All are near completion. • Vinyl floor mats were provided in Building 90 office areas with bare tile floors. This is to protect ACM from damage. • A Safety Alert was issued regarding proper disposal of unwanted samples. This includes a checklist for terminating researchers. • Unwanted paints and other materials were organized for waste disposal in Buildings 60 and 63.

  21. Short Term Safety Outlook- 9/13 • Finalize the 2014 EETD self-assessment project plan and submit to OCA. • Perform Satellite Accumulation Area (SAA) inspections. • Assist with operational planning for the FLEXLAB start-up. • Complete lab cleanup efforts and close the open CATS item (#9385). • Start work on the open “Office Electrical Safety” self-assessment open CATS (#9519) items. • Implement a new electronic lab inspection form for easier monthly lab area inspection documentation. • Assist with various lab moves in Buildings 62 , 70, and 71. • Coordinate follow-up on failed electrical equipment inspection items.
