  1. PLANTS bY:Alysa Dickinson

  2. Plant Cell Amyloplast-it stores starch. Cell membrane-thin layer of fat. Cell wall-rigid membrane. Centro some-body located near the nucleus. Chlorophyll-molecule that can use energy from the sunlight. Chloroplast-disc-shaped organelle. Christae-inner membrane of a cells mitochondrion. Cytoplasm-jelly material outside the cell nucleus. Golgi body-sac-like organelle. Granum-thylakiod disks in the choroplast.

  3. How plants cells are different from animal cells. Plant cells are surrounded by a cell wall. Plant cells go through photosynththesis. Plant cells contain chloroplast.

  4. Picture of photosynthesis Where plants use sunlight water and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and put in the air so that humans can breath it in.

  5. Picture of vascular plant Vascular plants have a well developed system

  6. Nonvascular plants Nonvascular plants destitute of vessels

  7. Angiosperms and gymnosperms Angiosperms are plants that produce flowers. Gymnosperms seeds are not closed in.

  8. Gymnosperms Gymnosperms seeds are not closed in

  9. Cuticle of a plant

  10. Explanation of the cuticle The cuticle is the waxy covering over the top of the plant leaves and stems.

  11. Picture of gametophyte

  12. Explanation gametophyte Gametophyte produces sex cells.

  13. Picture of sporophyte

  14. Explanation of sporophyte Spore producing plants.

  15. Ways that plants are used • To make paper • In foods • In cloths • To make shelter
