    • Impressive increase in enrollments in 04/05 and 05/06


Health science 300 enrollments

Health Science 300 Enrollments

  • Health Science 300 showed a steady decline in enrollment from fall 00 to fall 03 with a 23% decline in fall 03.

    • This was a trend when the new faculty was hired

  • In fall 04 Health Science began demonstrating robust growth

    • 17% growth occurred between the 03/04 and 04/05 academic years

    • An even more impressive 28% growth in 05/06 compared to the 03/04 low-point.

Health Science Mission Statement

The mission of the Health Science program is to provide students with a working knowledge of the personal lifestyle factors associated with reaching and maintaining an optimal level of health, and to maximize student success in higher education and in the realizations of their true potential. The Health Science program also seeks to provide students with a solid foundation of lower division coursework in the the field of health science that will prepare them for upper division education in the field.

    • Explore collaboration with RAD and online course

  • Continue to increase course offerings

  • Continue making class accessible to the populations it serves
