CEREC Connect 3.65. Optical Impression. Buccal – The method of taking the optical impression of the preparation and antagonist has not changed. But instead of taking a partial bite we now take the optical impression of the buccal.
One shot from the buccal is usually sufficient enough but in some cases it can be helpful to add an additional buccal picture. The following graphics show how the camera must be orientated when taking the buccal shots.
You can rotate both preparation and antagonist at the same time around one axis by clicking the left mouse button, holding and moving somewhere on the blue area.
By clicking the left mouse button, holding and moving directly on the preparation or antagonist you can rotate each model individually.
After the successful correlation of the models click the ‘Next’ icon and proceed as in the previous Connect software versions.
