  1. Project Development Process • “Eight Is Enough” – Eight Step Process: • District Project Manager notifies Traffic about meetings that may involve electrical devices • District Traffic and/or Central Office Traffic Operations attend meetings • Project Team identifies need (existing or new) • District Traffic shall submit a request for electrical devices/plans and desire for C.O. to do plans: • Identify impacts and needs of the project pertaining to electrical devices • New installations require: • Traffic Counts/Projections (AM/PM Peak/ADT with Turning Movements) • Crash History (if applicable) • Additional supporting documentation

Project Development Process • “Eight Is Enough” – Eight Step Process: • Traffic Operations reviews request • Approves changes for existing devices • Submits for approval for new devices • Notifies District Traffic/Project Development • For new devices, Project Manager contacts Design Services (Ted’s Branch) OR consultant ASAP to locate poles • Division/Consultant completes design • Consultant plans are submitted to Design Services Branch for review • Final plans submitted to Project Manager for inclusion in plan set
